Thank You For All Of Your Pub Order Feedback
I’d just like to thank everyone who has already started using Pub Order. We’ve had some excellent feedback from many of you. In this post, I will list some of the changes we have put into Pub Order as a result of your feedback.
Product Add-Ons
This was definitely the most requested change to Pub Order and therefore we managed to get this request complete earlier in the week.
The first release of the system wasn’t allowing mixes or dashes to be added to drinks. Some of you were getting around this by adding separate mixer products, however, this was causing its own set of problems in that sometimes it wasn’t clear which mixer went with which product. 🤔
This problem we hope is now fully resolved with the new product add-on feature…
As you can see in the above screenshot, an existing product now has a “New Add-On” button in green. Clicking this enables you to add add-on products associated with that drink.
So to add a dash of lime for 50p to this pint of Fosters, click the New Add-On button and enter the details in the pop-up form…
When you click the blue “Save Add-On” button the dash of lime will be associated as an Add-on to the Pint of Fosters.
When you have added all of the add-ons you want to make available for that particular product click the blue “Save changes” button.
Now, if one of your customers orders a pint of Fosters they will see the add-on or add-ons you created…
They simply select one of the available add-ons or select no extras thanks. Only one add-on can be added per product.
Orders Not Showing the Size Of The Drink
Until this was pointed out to us we hadn’t realised that we’d got this bit of the system slightly wrong! It was only possible to distinguish a pint from a half-pint by looking at the price. You will be glad to know that we have now fixed this and the size of the product is displayed on the order details screen, as can be seen with this pint of San Miguel…
Register Screen
You can now see some of the details of the people who register as being at your pub, club or bar. The contact number is still kept private and encrypted but we can retrieve these details if they are requested.

Sound On New Orders
This was another request that quite a few people made. In our initial version, you had to keep checking the order screen to see if a new order had arrived. Now we’ve added a beep, so whenever there are outstanding orders the system will make a beeping noise every 30 seconds. If you don’t find this useful then you may have to turn your volume down, sorry!!
Group By Table Number
Some of you were experiencing an issue where many separate orders were being individually made from the same table. To try and make this easier to manage we now group the orders as they come in by table number, as you can see from the screenshot of our test system below…
Feedback & Spread The Word
Another idea someone suggested to us is to have “a feedback” and “a spread the word” link right from the admin system.
We’ve added these to the main navigation bar.
They both simply go to forms on the website where you can either provide us with some product feedback or provide us with the details of someone you think might benefit from Pub Order.
